Take the silky shave test, I did… I was down to the last few shaves available from my old aerosol blasting can of shaving cream that I bought off the shelf from a local grocery store. It was time to buy some more when I decided to try the new Kennedy’s pre-shave oil, shaving cream, and after shave soother. Since it was better for the environment by not adding to the pollution to the o-zone and it offers a nostalgic touch of the more gentleman times, it seemed to be right thing to do while pampering myself along the way. I used the Kennedy’s products one day and then compared my shave the next day by going back to my old can of shaving cream. This shave test really sold me! The Kennedy’s products gave me a lot closer shave and left me with a clean, fresh, and silky face. They have a very slight and pleasant scent that smells and feels clean and refreshing but is not overpowering under my own cologne. The people in my architectural office seemed to notice too. The only improvement to using these shaving products at home would be having a skilled barber shave me with a straight edge razor at Kennedy’s All-American Barber Club. PreShave Oil Review

Kennedy’s All-American Barber Club Pre-Shave Oil was the first pre-shave oil that I have ever used. Not knowing what to expect, I was actually very surprised at what it actually does. First off, Kennedy’s All-American Barber Club just recently released three men’s skin care products. The first of the three being their Pre-Shave Oil, second is their Shave Cream, and third is their After-Shave Soothing Cream. If used in conjunction with one another, you’re supposed to get the “Kennedy’s Experience” shave.

Going into this without any knowledge of the “Kennedy’s Experience” nor having ever tried a 3-step shave, I was pretty anxious and excited to find out how it would turn out. The Pre-Shave Oil comes in a clear, 2 ounce bottle with a push dispenser on the top. The actual oil looks like an olive oil type color. Once you dispense 2-3 pumps into your hand, you spread it all over your shaving areas. When I applied the oil, you can tell that it is going to help enhance the smoothness of the shave, you can feel your skin become smoother when you apply it. It has a very light scent and complements the Shave Cream scent. Like I had said before, I have never used a Pre-Shave Oil before so I have no idea what to expect. After I applied the Pre-Shave Oil, I applied the Shave Cream. When I started shaving, I could instantly feel and see a difference. Believe it or not, the shave that I get using the Pre-Shave oil is by far, the closest, smoothest, and less-irritated shave that I have ever had before.

Once the shave was completed, I rinsed off my face as usual. I could still feel the oil on my face, but it washed right off without any soap or scrubbing. It leaves your skin feeling more hydrated than just using a normal shave cream. After I was done rinsing off my face, I used their After-Shave Soothing Lotion. I usually get irritation from shaving, regardless of what shave cream or after shave I use. I can confidently say if you get irritation from shaving, try using this Pre-Shave Oil. It does make a world of difference and you will no longer have to worry about any irritation or bumps after shaving!

Shaving Cream Review

The Kennedy’s All-American Barber Club Shave Cream is one of three products that Kennedy’s All-American Barber Club has manufactured. This shave cream should be used as the 2nd step to completing the “Kennedy’s Experience”. Their shave creams come in a 4 ounce jar and believe me a little goes a long way. According to Chris Hurn, the President and CEO of Kennedy’s, their 3-step process is unbeatable. Now it was time to put it to the test.

I generally get irritation around my neck line after shaving, mainly because of the fact that I wear collared shirt throughout the day. I was skeptical to hear that if I use the 3-steps that Kennedy’s has provided me, the irritation will be a thing of the past. So, I applied the Pre-Shave Oil first, then the shave cream. The shave cream has a very light scent, which by the way, my wife loves. The 4 ounce jar does seem like you wouldn’t get much out of it, but a little goes forever. I took about a dime size dab on my forefinger and applied it to my face and neck. It thickened while I was applying it to my face and neck. I usually let it sit there for a minute or two just to marinate on the skin and whiskers before shaving. After a minute had passed, the razor went to work. The shave cream helps provide that barrier that I needed while shaving. It felt like the blade was a gliding a lot better than before. After shaving both my face and neck, I rinsed off and checked out the final results.

My shave was by far, the closest, smoothest, best feeling shave that I have ever received. This is coming from the owner of TheMetroMan.com. I have recently ditched all other products that I currently use for shaving for the Kennedy’s 3-step “Kennedy’s Experience”. I am a firm believer that this product will help anyone who is trying to get that close shave without any irritation… which is probably most of us. Now, I never said that just using the shave cream is going to get you the close shave that I did… you need to use all of their products as described. So, go ahead and give it a try, I promise you won’t be disappointed.

After Shave Soother Review

Kennedy’s All-American Barber Club After-Shave Soother is the final step to experiencing one of the best shave available. The Kennedy’s All-American Barber Club After-Shave Soother should be used in conjunction with their Pre-Shave Oil and their Shave Cream. It comes in a 4 ounce bottle and should be heated prior to using. The instructions tell you to run the bottle under some warm water to help the after-shave lotion absorb quicker and easier.

Once I had completed the first two steps by using Kennedy’s Pre-Shave Oil and their Shave Cream, I proceeded to warm up the bottle of Kennedy’s After-Shave Soother. Not only could I tell that my shave was one of the closest I had ever had, but I could also tell that my skin had not felt any irritation or rubbing like I usually do using other shave creams. After I warmed up the After-Shave Soother, I applied it to my neck and face. A very small amount goes on forever… which is why they probably limited the amount to 4 ounces. One thing that I have noticed about all of Kennedy’s products is that their products go on forever. You only need to use about a dime size amount of every product to cover your entire face.

After applying the After-Shave Soother, I did experience a little tingling sensation. This sensation actually felt pretty good, it lets you know that is actually getting absorbed into the skin. After a few minutes went by, the lotion had been completely absorbed. Now the one thing that I do hate about a lot of after-shaves is the feeling that it leaves once it has dried on the skin. Kennedy’s After-Shave Soother leaves your skin feeling like you never applied anything. I was actually surprised because it leaves a great scent and great feeling on the skin, but no residue or stickiness at all.

Overall, the experience with Kennedys’ All-American Barber Club Shaving Products has been more than a success. Not only have these products exceeded my expectations, but I will be using these products from now on. They do what they claim and do it well. We will be selling these products in a package and individually. I strongly urge anyone who experiences sensitivity, dryness, razor bumps or irritation to try Kennedy’s products… even if you don’t experience any of these, I still believe you will be extremely happy with the results.
